Liquid nitrogen
The typical use of nitrogen, in liquid phase, is in the criopreservation because it’s the right solution to store cells and tissues. Infact, low temperature (-195°C) gives the way to preserve organic samples in cryodewar or in liquid or vapour conditions. Liquid nitrogen is also used to produce the synthetic air with air mixer and in dermatology (e.g. to burn warts).
