Of this technology.
Oxyfuel cutting technology, although the oldest and best known, is constantly being developed. This technology is essential for the processing of construction steels. Although plasma and laser technologies are suitable for medium-thin thicknesses, oxyfuel technology is still the technology of choice for cutting thicker thicknesses.
Of this technology.
To open the cabinet, a month to monetise the metal powder and close it.
To monetise the gas released.
It supports the flame in the preheating phase, bringing the carbon steel to glow, thus fuelling an exothermic reaction between the carbon contained in the steel and the oxygen. However, the fuel gas also plays a key role in the type of operation and the economics of the process.
Depending on the type of cutting to be performed, it is possible to choose the most suitable fuel gas. For example, when a short and complex cut needs to be made, the fuel gas that works best is acetylene, as it allows a higher feed rate and a lower oxygen consumption. When cuts need to be long it is better to use cheaper gases even if the feed time is longer, this is diluted in the duration of the whole cut.
SanCut® R20, SanCut® R35 and SanCut® RN are mixtures developed to be used as shielding gases in plasma cutting for mainly austenitic stainless steels. These mixtures have good thermal and electrical conductivity as well as a high calorific value, thIs producing a very energetic plasma with fast and high transfers.
At the same time, due to its reducing character, it eliminates the presence of oxides on the cutting surface, leaving a shiny finish.
Potential production of the right onsite gas mixture.
In Nippon Gases we are able to meet the specific requests to generate onsite mixtures through the design and construction of specific gas mixers also, including remote control.
