Nitrox enriched with air or pure Nitrox is the second most commonly used gas for diving after air. Nitrox is a mixture of nitrogen and oxygen that has a higher oxygen content than air. The mixture can be made in different concentrations of oxygen and nitrogen.
Saturation divers require a mixture of helium and oxygen (Heliox) to breathe and work at depths - usually more than 60 meter below sea level - for extended periods of time. Ratio of the mixtures is 76,5% helium and 23,5% oxygen.
