What is the carbon footprint of Green+? +

What do I receive with my purchase? +
Green+ is a blend of liquid argon, oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide that has no carbon footprint. These gases are produced using renewable energy and guaranteed origin certificates. Furthermore, zero-emission transport is ensured by purchasing biofuel equivalent to the quantities of Green+ gases sold. Any remaining emissions are offset through carbon capture in Norwegian climate forests.

How does Trefadder’s climate offsetting work? +
Trefadder is Norway's leading BIO-CCS company. They capture large amounts of CO2 by planting Norwegian climate forests. These forests are planted in collaboration with landowners, creating jobs in rural areas.
All tree planting is carried out in Norway by trained professionals. We plant in areas that provide the best conditions for achieving maximum growth and biodiversity, and for producing the highest-quality trees. The entire production phase is documented through traceability, record-keeping and photographs.
Nippon Gases undertakes to purchase a number of trees annually that is equivalent to the residual emissions associated with transporting Green+ gases.
