The inert gas that can become active.

Cheap but difficult to use

Under normal circumstances (temperature and pressure), this gas is inert, and when subject to high temperatures, it can become active influencing the result. It is usually used in the PBF 3D printing process, exclusively for stainless steel products. It is also used for the inerting of metal powders in the storage phase.

The use of nitrogen is often relegated solely to the processing of stainless steel powder
